Qualifications
- MUST BE:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing and/or
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in New York State in good standing
- Master’s degree in special education, applied behavior analysis or psychology
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Acceptance of philosophy and code of conduct of the agency and the Behavior Analysts Certification Board.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Utilize evidence-based practice in the development of intervention plans, treatment plans and skill acquisition plans; provide assistance, training and feedback before and/or during implementation.
- Conducts education and behavior assessments (VB-MAPP, FBAs, ETC.).
- Responsible for Supervision, Mentorship and oversight of quality of services and documentation of RBTs and BTs.
- Create and conduct training for staff and/or parents in the techniques, principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Schedule and conduct observations and provide hands-on training and guidance
- Discusses client progress, reviews treatment and behavior plans with caregiver

Description
As a Case Manager, Regional Permanency Resource Center you will provide supportive services and case management services to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families so they are able to make informed decisions with regards to services and supports that best meet their needs. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor. You will work in a hybrid environment with some travel to client's homes in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a systems navigator to families who have adopted or who have children in guardianship or kinship care through the provision of case management.
- Meet with families in their home to assess needs
- Assess needs, conduct service planning, service plan implementation, service coordination, monitoring and follow-up, reassessment and review with the family via in-home or community monthly visits. Services include but are not limited to information and referral services; referral to legal services; attendance at family court dates; transportation; housing assistance; childcare; basic family needs (vital needs in emergencies and with expenses that are unforeseen); educational advocacy services; and facilitating appointments with social services, medical health providers, and mental health services.
- Respond to the request for in home support referrals for resources and services
- Provide crisis intervention supports when needed
- Work with family to access needed respite services
- Conduct follow up contacts with families at prescribed intervals
- Participate in family engagement activities
- Co-lead support groups
- Participate in training programs offered by the program as assigned
- Use lived experience to empathize and provide hope. Preference for someone with experience with kinship, adoption or guardianship as a youth or in a parenting role.
- Maintain records including required data collection information according to the program standards and expectations. Case Managers must maintain Evolv record with progress notes and all pertinent documentation, a discharge summary and post-case closure documentation.
- Participate as a trainer in programs in the community, to increase understanding of the needs of families who have adopted or have children in guardianship or kinship care
- Complete risk assessments as required by Northern Rivers Quality Management Department
Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor’s level degree in social work, psychology, or human services, or a bachelor’s level degree in any field with at least two years of case management experience; or an associate’s level degree in psychology or human services with at least two years of case management experience.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships
- A valid NYS drivers license

Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. - Develop unique approaches to complicated problems and create solutions that may require the integration of disparate systems running on a variety of technical platforms.
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and document solutions created for the University.
- Build customizations and configurations that ensure propagation to upgraded environments.
- Review of existing system and software design and code; make recommendations for developing and integrating new requirements and improving system, code, and maintenance.
- Apply and observe configuration management practices and established development standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Gather customer requirements and build solutions using new and/or existing technology/application systems.
- Work as a team member in the development, analysis, and support of enterprise applications including PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Work closely with various technical and functional departments in implementing recommendations and/or negotiating proposed solutions.
Projects and Operational Activities:
- Work on items within a defined queue of requests, incidents, problems, and projects for assigned service areas.
- Provide day-to-day applications operational support, including quality assurance activities and necessary documentation for tasks performed.
- Monitor enterprise applications, apply appropriate triage skills to application failures, and take appropriate action to maintain service availability.
- Actively participate, as needed, in ITS projects.
- Be available to provide scheduled support and consultation outside normal business hours, including occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends, within reasonable professional obligation and expectation.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- At least three years of development experience in large relational database systems such as PeopleSoft, Banner, or another ERP environment.
- At least one year of demonstrated programming experience in application development with one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, PERL, PHP, Python, or ERP development tools.
- Experience effectively translating functional business requirements into relevant technical specifications.
- Experience conducting technical design walk-throughs and peer reviews.
- Experience in organizing work, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple and changing priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in higher education.
- Proficient in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and deploying user applications/solutions using PeopleSoft PeopleTools-related components.
- Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting complex, cross-team applications and integrations.
- Fluency in more than one programming language.
- RESTful API (Application Programming Interface) development experience.
- Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.

Professional Rank and Salary Grade: Senior Programmer/Analyst, SL4; $90,000-95,000.
